Hi Guys,
I am starting a 1952 K Model engine rebuild.
I was wondering if there is any how-to documentation out there?
Anything would be helpful. shop manual, videos, sketches.

Thank you for your help.
Joe

Yep make shore you pay special attention to the oil pump so it doesn't wet sump. If you don't plan on wiping up the mess on the floor on start up's. Contact me and I will tell you what to do to prevent this.

Join a local antique / vintage motorcycle club that has other K owners. They should be a source of information, tools, etc. If you do not have such a club in your area, there is probably an AMCA chapter nearby.

The -59 Service Book is helpful for transmission. All other info is scattered between Service Bulletins, Riders Manuals, etc. I posted basic specs in the short tech "History" here onsite. There are many threads here discussing Modern Piston clearances, torque specs, etc. If the lower end is still in wear tolerances and it shifts fine you may want to just build top end. Otherwise you want to pull it all down. I'm available for help anytime as well as these fine folks here. Erik 907 347 4617
