in 1952 was the underside of the fenders painted full coverage or oversprayed finish over what color primer?
see a photo in the other fender thread and wondering if thats the stock finish?

For what it is worth, I am pretty confident my 53 had paint matching the original color on the underside of the fenders. The bike was repainted Hollywood Green in the early 60's but the underside of the fenders was not painted and remained Pepper Red.
