That Intake more like .080" from deck to highest point. This is my best guesstimate!

Since we are talking valves, after the Cylinders are assembled and installed, and valves adjusted check the clearance between the fully open valves and the head. Specs are .110" Intake & .040" Exhaust in the KR book. If tighter, head should be machined for clearance above valves, than blended, in the combustion chamber. If the clearance is .020" over recommended head can be surfaced to bring back down to specs. Also note machined area around intake seat and exhaust seat .050-.060" wider than the very top of the seat. This can be done with 30° angle for a 45° seat. Or a 45° angle with the KR 30° seat. Hope this helps! Erik

After much research and analyzing of the original cylinder, we got the new seats installed and they look very good...thank you everyone for your insight and advice. This baby should be running within the next couple weeks and I am getting excited to hear it run for the first time in a couple decades.
