Hi Jeff,

The top ring on a K/KH/KR is way below the piston top, 9mm/355 thou on most of my numerous K type pistons. This to allow very big flow channels to be cut on the top of the cylinders without the top ring being affected or uncovered.

So, whatever the amount of squish, the piston will hit the head way before the top ring is affected.

I will go for 60 thou squish using a thicker base gasket made of aluminium and thanks a lot for the starting tips.

I went 121.775 with my squish theories in the past, what have you achieved with your now unreadable stuff?

And there are parts in it I bought from you in the 80's... when you were more sociable?
