Does anyone have a automotive color match for the anniversary yellow?

That is a good question. I used to buy paint and sample cards from Antique Cycle Supply but they have closed. The 1954 Golden Anniversary Yellow is way different than the 1956 Champion Yellow. Let me do some looking around. Erik K

You are most welcome. The House of Color may be helpful. They have a big online site. I see modern paint chips but if you look at their site, and contact them I think they would know where to get that color. I don't know if anyone makes the old single stage paint but I'm sure the color can be matched with correct sample.

OK I found this site that has a cross reference number chart for old HD paint to Modern. See this info @ http://www.hdpaint.tk He also has techniques and paint listed including old single stage. I looked at the official H-D paint site but they only went back to 1984.

Erik,

Over here are paint chips I got from Antique Cycle Supply years and years ago - probably back in the 1990s. Probably done with my old (primitive) scanner back then. While not terribly accurate, they do show relative differences.

I have a can of original anniversary yellow paint. My painter had it computer matched by his supplier. I won't be able to see him for a few days but when I do I will get the formula and post it. I have a 54 KHK I am going to paint that color. My cell is 18154235709 if you need to talk.
Take care

My paint guy did two test patches for his supplier to color match. The first he was not happy with because he did the sample on corrugated board. He liked the second sample patch more because of the material he painted the sample for color match on. What I will show is this second sample. It is the one I am going to use on my 54KHK. If you would prefer the actual can of paint to do your own match with let me know.
