where is a good supplier of factory color paint for vintage h.ds.?...looking to do my 52k in the rio blue and looking for a close match to orig.

The last one is John Pierce, colorwrite.

If you have or can get a good part with the correct color, then a good automobile paint outlet that color matches with good matching equipment can be as good and much less expensive. As an example, Pepper Red is a match to a 80 to 86 Audi color, Mars Red.

i had seen the vmr site,but couldent find a phone number on the site,maybe i didnt look hard enough,found the john pierce page .seen this one a couple yrs ago and think im leaning towards johns...i dont have any orig paint to scan,the bike was bronze back in 52 but just cant find it in my heart to repaint it that god awfull color...but thats just my opinion.

There is a phone number on the VMF site. You may want to order a 1/2 pint from them and color match from that. The per quart cost from either source is steep.
