Say, you are the fast kid! Dump that sidestand first thing...OK. Here is where we need a Sub Teacher. Great question but I don't know yet. Let me ring up some KR buddies...I'm more learned in the "street Ks" dept.

A follow up on this thread which may give closure, add to the information bank, or just add confusion.
Trying to find a “45701-52R” bottom clamp for this aluminium top clamp “45738-58R” has been frustrating and fruitless. The scant information I had during the search was that, the stem is at an angle to the tubes, and that it would most likely be a 45707-52 forging. I’ve been searching, buying, failing. Searching, buying, failing, multiple times due to the lack in concise information, or pictures of this elusive part. There seems to be more of the alloy top clamps available.
Recently I bought a quantity of K model and iron head Sporty parts, and in it were plenty of the 54-70 forks, clamps sets, and parts thereof. While cleaning and storing some of the lower clamps I picked one out of the parts washer, blew it off, and sat it with the others on the cabinet beside me. The cabinet is chest height, and I noticed that the fork stem had a different angle to the others. Nearly wetting myself with anticipation I assembled it together. No grunting or effort needed. It just slid together. See pictures.
To my surprise the lower clamp is a 45707-52A.
