Here is the problem with New Brass Floats. The new float should have had a blind nut installed at manufacture point. As is fuel runs past threads like a garden hose, filling it and sinking it rendering inop. Kaput. They give you a washer, thats just a trick. The Float Arm is slotted where it attaches to Float for adjusting to center it. So round hole, slot, you got a leak. The only way this will fly is to seal threads with petroleum resistant sealer. Than you still have the slot that doesnt cover the hole 100%.Yuk. Get a neoprene style, Rubber Ducky or such. Peter I have a large box going to Nick in Holland very soon.
