The Chesapeake Chapter's AMCA National Swapmeet has moved - from the familiar (and wet) White Rose hillclimb. It will be at the Upperco, Maryland, Fire Dept fairgrounds on October 2-3. Upperco is a tiny hamlet a few miles north-west from Baltimore (where Baltimorons live), just outside of Reisterstown, MD.

This is usually one of the smaller swap meets, but this year may be pretty big, since most of the East Coast meets were cancelled this year, and folks are dying to swap stuff. It's gonna have to be a substitute location for OSKRG-East this year - look for the OSKRG banner flying over the vendor space.

A few years ago, you saw Richard Spagnolli's gorgeous 1970 XLH at Oley. Richard's electric start XLH features the optional XLCH gas tank. At Upperco this year, you'll see my kick-start 1970 XLCH with optional XLH gas tank. Same paint color, and pretty hard to tell one from the other.

The Southern Chapter's AMCA national meet in Denton, North Carolina was rescheduled from May to October 16 - 18. It's held at the Denton Farm Park, a destination on its own.
