My 55 KHK has a 45707-52A fork stem and bracket assembly. Anybody know what year/make this came off from… I don't see it in the literature.

The 3 I have sitting here have that number also. Maybe the book has a typo? Book does say 45701. Mine are early XL style with no steering lock but holes for fork boot vents. My other K ones are snowed in right now. Erik K

I believe your trees started at VIN 2250 in 54.

These have a fork lock - not correct for a 55, right?

I think the fork lock started in 68.

OK the Spare Parts book has the Fork Stem and Bracket listed as part #45701-54A. That would be for both parts. The stem is available separately but the Lower Bracket is not. It has an individual part # 45707-52A cast on it and that is why the part numbers are different. Erik K
