Anyone got a pic of the fasteners used to mount the magneto to the base that bolts to the cam cover? Why do the 2 holes look like bold #9's instead of just 1/4" slots?

Do you mean the rectangular washers 29607-62 Washer, magneto adapter that fits late-1962 to 1964 ?

Hi Mutt,

The bigger holes of the two "nine" are there so you can put a screwdriver through them to undo the screws that hold the steel base to the alloy body
