Yeah, parting out old iron is like those antique dealers that cut up first edition books to sell them page at a time. I can't get too mad, since I am one of the guys that put a 1962 together from parts. It was a dealer's warehouse stash, a buddy bought him out and brought the trove up to San Jose, long before eBay.

Too bad the OP is in Australia, I have a mid-60s frame I intent to part with. After the fiasco of trying to ship a frame FedEx, where they lost it for three months, I don't intend to ever ship a frame again.

I do think the prices are a bit high, I see frames closer to 250, and every once a great while, down in the hundred and change range.
