On page 2B-4 , picture 2B-4 I noticed the hoses on the oil tank fittings were secured by what looks like twisted wire. Was this ever used by the factory?

Roger M asked me to post this for him. He says the wires were "0.058 brass wire, each one 3" long, 10 to a set".

The twisted brass wire was stock in the XLCH up to and including 1961 if I'm not mistaken.
