Does anyone know if either Tony Diaz or Buddy Elmore from El Paso Texas racer Harley KRs in the 1960s.
Looking for pictures of their bikes and any biographical material.

Buddy rode KRs a bit as I have several pictures of him on them. Not sure who for though. I'll try to dig them out and scan them.

Thanks
I may have located one of the KRs.
It was shipped in 1961 to the Harley dealer in El Paso.
Do you have any info on the Triumphs (serial number ?) that he raced for Baltimore at Daytona 1966 and 1967.

There was a KR stashed away in a corner by the front window at Barnett H-D. That was a decade ago and even then it was buried in dust and grime. I never got close enough to really check it out and my FTF attitude didn’t bring me in that store too often.
Even since buying my EFI Sporty from them I haven’t been there in 2 years so I can’t say if it’s still gathering dust. It was orange and black. Don’t remember a # plate.

Nothing to help on those guys, but I believe my 62KR2031 was from texas and raced in and around there most of it's life. Ronnie Doyle might have been the original owner and later sold and raced my Monty Barrett (Oklahoma maybe), and Gerald Jessop in Tyler.

Do you have any pictures of the KR. Both Monty and Gerald are gone. Good guy privateer racers.

This photo might be too big, from cowley county fairgrounds in Kanas 1968 with Monty. That’s too bad about Gerald, i spoke with him on the phone a year or two ago but he didn’t remember much. Was actually gonna look him up next week as I will be near Tyler.
